Press release
Press release. Web3 relationship aggregator KNN3 Network announced that it has raised $2.4 million in a seed round led by Liang Xinjun, the former co-founder of HashGlobal and Fosun International. Mask Network, MetaWeb Venture, Eniac Venture, Tess Venture, Stratified Capital, Fundamental Lab, Incuba Alpha, Juth Venture, Cogitant Venture, Atlas Capital; Impossible Finance, RSS3, Shomi and Yan Xin & Potter Lee, co-founders of ETHSign also participated in the round. KNN3 will use the $2.4M funding for network protocol development and product market fit.
From these struggles and pains over data isolation and cross-platform redundancy, it can be agreed that a universal solution to interoperability is the only way forward. With such confidence, these investors decided to support the KNN3 network in driving the future of multi-chain relationship aggregation and a diversified, decentralized world.
Vision of KNN3 Network
Following a paradigm shift, processors of decentralized applications are now at the heart of Web3, bringing peer-to-peer transactions to the world and optimized counting of state changes.
“Since smart contracts and distributed virtual state machines come under the blockchain, decentralized WWW solutions truly give ownership back to users and return democracy to the web,” Thomas Yu, co-founder of KNN3 Networks said. “However, knowledge of Web 3 needs to be kept updated to continually generate more flexible and innovative ideas. Without permissioned cross-platform data collaboration, individual applications simply run in silos. For example, Web3’s flywheel will fail to set the crypto universe in motion. Therefore it is imperative to have more sophisticated protocols to increase the reusability of Web3 data. As a multi-chain relationship aggregating protocol for dApps and analytics, KNN3 Networks fulfills that role perfectly.”
What is KNN3 Network?
KNN3 Networks provides Web3 Graph solutions for relational aggregations across multiple blockchain universes to power social dApps and AI analytics. It aims to be a community-driven data curation protocol that enables on-chain data collaboration.
“The team believes in meaning-making relationships by converting user footprints into relational connectors that collectively form a vast graph network,” said Thomas Yu.“The team is excited to be part of the Web3 wave and look forward to seeing the KNN3 network grow.”
If a user is a web3 dApp builder, they can seamlessly retrieve the relationship data of a large number of web3 users using KNN3’s high-performance GraphQL. The KNN3 network aggregates and compiles multiple dimensions of relationships through the historical behavior and status of users.
If a user is a Web3 analyst, KNN3 allows them to conduct structural and relational queries in one place. In addition, it provides a SQL-style graph query component for any SQL-compatible BI/analytics platform to integrate with their existing query services. In addition, algorithm developers can build and train their AI/ML algorithms with KNN3’s graph computing environment solutions.
Permissionless cross-platform data collaboration solution
“While AI analytics toolkits allow people to extract value from data across different platforms, these applications usually work in isolation. When such applications fragment the market, users navigate highly complex environments. In short, it lacks integrated middleware to enable more advanced Web3 use cases.” As Thomas Yu explained, “The company wants to move forward without compromising on the core values of crypto, i.e. composability and plug and play. KNN3 Networks provides such a one-stop-shop solution for on-chain data-driven dApps. Compared to traditional SocialFi dApps embedded with SaaS (Software as a Service), KNN3 Network provides a trustworthy protocol characterized by decentralization-as-a-service (DAAS) and true censorship-resistance. ,
use cases
In the current iteration, KNN3 Networks provides data solutions for web3 dApps for social discovery and user empowerment. Notably, it has already helped some dApps maximize their value delivery – it provides Quest3 with a virtual credential service, which is the fundamental architecture for Quest3’s on-chain discovery system that is used This is done to verify whether a Web3 user is capable of completing a specific task; It provides social graph to Metamail and Shoream. KNN3 provides a trustworthy analytical environment for user recommendation algorithms based on real-time on-chain data to encourage users to connect with more friends with just one click.
It also provides an AI-friendly solution to algorithmic registry. KNN3’s easy-to-use graph database and open algorithms allow the latter to establish an open platform from which users can freely choose algorithms and submit their algorithms. In the future, the KNN3 network aims to be a data collaborative building block to power Mix-DApps, SocialFi, Open AI and more.
target customers
KNN3 Networks permissionless relational aggregating solutions and virtual credential services primarily targeting SocialFi, the on-chain credit protocol, and Web3 campaign tools. KNN3 Networks also provides ecosystem tools to enable the analytics platform to seamlessly expand its database to include Web3 multi-chain relational data. The vision of KNN3 Network is to empower NFT/DAO/GameFi promoters to onboard more Web3 users, while providing them with a better on-ramp experience with its profiling/enabling toolkit. It also allows Web3 dApp builders to deliver a better Web3 social experience with their multi-chain graph solutions.
