MATIC and LINK acquired at a decline of over $2 million
The WhaleStats crypto tracker has announced that on March 3, two large crypto investors, who hold the majority of their funds in Ethereum, have added more cryptocurrencies to their digital money: LINK and Matic.
One of them is the Ethereum whale, “Quothe”, named after the main character of the Kingkiller Chronicle trilogy written by American fiction writer Patrick Rothfuss. Ranked 300th on the WhaleStats scale, the whale bought 659,765 MATICs worth $1,055,624.

The second largest acquisition was made by ETH Whales without any names but was ranked 133rd by WhaleStats. he bought equal to $1,247,893 in Chainlink:84,431 Link tokens.
SHIB holds top position in ETH whales
According to a recent tweet by WhaleStats, six hours ago, the second largest meme cryptocurrency by market cap, the Shiba Inu (SHIB), became the most liked token by the 100 largest Ethereum holders.
The tweet said that SHIB was the most frequently traded coin, SHIB was in the list of 10 largest crypto holdings, among the top 10 purchased coins and among the top 10 most frequently used smart contracts.

However, as of now, SHIB remains only in the top 10 holdings list – it comes in third place behind Ethereum and second only by USD value after FTT. In total, the ETH whale is now priced at $1,538,713,432 for the Shiba Inu.
This is 16.69% of his portfolio. This is a slight drop from 17.42% compared to the day before.
MATIC is among the other top holdings of ETH investors. He now holds a total of $382,180,962 of these tokens, which is 4.14% of his crypto holdings.
“Gimli” the whale bought 442.6 billion SHIB
On March 3, U.Today reported that a large ETH holder, “Gimli” (a key dwarf character from the iconic fantasy novel “Lord of the Rings”) grabbed a massive amount of SHIB – a staggering 442,637,867,858 tokens. This amount is $11,561,701 in meme tokens.
Following that trade, “Gimli”‘s SHIB holding increased to a total of 1 trillion tokens.
