After Fidelity recently listed its crypto products on SIX, the number of companies issuing crypto ETPs on this platform increased to 10, and the volume of exchange-traded products based on digital assets increased to over 130.
Nick King, Head of ETFs at Fidelity, has said that the fact the launch of a new bitcoin ETP is critical to the growth of the company’s exchange-traded product and is the company’s first major step towards digital asset product potential. He added that his new bitcoin product now enables his customers in Europe to have access to BTC in a seamless manner.
As previously reported by U.Today, in mid-February this year, Fidelity launched its first Bitcoin ETP in Europe—in Frankfurt, Germany—that trades under the ticker FBTC.
