This Dog Coin Desperately Wants You To Think It’s Affiliated To Elon Musk
One of countless Shiba Inu copycats, the Milo Inu has employed an unorthodox promotional strategy that includes Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
As noted by dogedesigner, a prolific member of the Dogecoin community who goes by the handle @cb_doge, centiBillionaire recently liked a tweet from a Twitter account called “Musk World”.
After receiving much attention from Musk, the account changed its name to “Meet” and set the Canine Coins logo as its profile picture. The complete rebrand came just hours after the controversial billionaire’s tweet was liked.
It is worth mentioning that Musk is not affiliated in any way with Milo Inu Token.
However, the creators of the project clearly intend to “save lives” together with Musk. The official Twitter profile of the BNB chain-based coin attached a screenshot to show Musk’s kind as a seal of approval.
Many crypto projects are desperate to capture Musk’s attention as a tweet or even a single vague coin could hit the headlines and lead to massive price increases. Billionaire’s answers are constantly filled with a myriad of different cryptocurrency projects.Last July, BabyDog, a little-known Dogecoin knock-off, became the talk of the town after Musk mentioned the name of the BNB chain-based token. The project has since managed to generate a vibrant community and build a vast ecosystem.
