Prince Philip of Serbia and Yugoslavia says bitcoin is freedom. Noting that “we need to take money from the state,” the prince insisted: “We need hard money again. We must have good quality money that is not subject to inflation.”
Serbia’s Prince Philip Praises Bitcoin
Prince Philip of Serbia and Yugoslavia recently talked about bitcoin in a Serbian TV show hosted by Ivan Ivanovic. Prince Philip, a member of the House of Karadorevi, is the second son of the last crown prince of the former Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He is the fraternal twin of Prince Alexander and second in line to the throne after Prince Peter.
According to the website of the Royal Family of Serbia, Prince Philip is currently working with the Global Asset Manager in London.
“I work in finance,” he confirmed on the TV show. “I work in asset management for an international finance company. The head office is in New York but there is a larger office in London. I am an analyst. I love to analyze the world.”
He continued: “I analyze and primarily tell clients what happens to the market, what is happening with their portfolios, and I speak with many other analysts within the company and many other portfolio managers. We help make decisions… Being an analyst is a great experience. I learn a lot.”
Then he was asked about crypto. Emphasizing that his advice is “definitely free,” he began by saying “crypto,” but quickly corrected himself to say “bitcoin.” Prince Philip said: “Not crypto but bitcoin. It’s only about bitcoin.” He continued:
Bitcoin is freedom, and that is something I want for everyone.
He described: “It’s something everyone has to learn. They’ll learn slowly. Some people won’t want to learn it because they’re not used to it. They want to defend the system in which they do well.”
The prince added: “But what they don’t realize is that the system, which they probably do, is not beneficial to everyone else in the world, so billions of people around the world just aren’t having a good time.”
The prince was interrupted by Ivanovich after he said, “Well, we need to get the money out of the kingdom.” The TV host cautioned that the royalty statement could be misinterpreted. Both laughed.
Prince Philip emphasized:
I think we need hard money again. We should have good quality money which is not subject to inflation.
Referring to inflation, he said the problem is happening now and “especially since that last financial crisis in 2008 with the extraordinary stimulus that has been pumped into economies.” He elaborated: “And since then with the corona pandemic, an unprecedented amount of stimulus has been poured into the economy and of course, where is this money going? This is going to create inflation. ,
Prince Philip went on to talk about bitcoin. “With bitcoin, you don’t have that. You only have a cap of 21 million bitcoins that are going to be produced,” he described, adding:
So it will never be an inflationary asset and it helps to protect people.
“On top of that, it’s censorship-free. It’s very fungable. You can move it around… and it will help the sovereignty of the people, and it helps the freedom of the people,” concluded the prince. .
