Lamborghini-backed GT Racing team to certify car parts using NFT

GT Team Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR), a brand backed by Lamborghini, partnered with the NFT platform to launch a program that uses NFTs to certify racing car parts. Through NFTs, VSR will monitor and ensure that their car parts are of utmost quality. According to former world champion Vincenzo Sospiri, this allows his team to certify and audit each and every part of their fleet. In addition, NFT authentication may also be extended to the team’s official business and products in the future.

NFTs to appear on Facebook, cross-post with Instagram as Meta Web3 continues to expand

When Facebook announced the “Digital Collectibles” tab on the creators’ timeline, Meta continued its Web 3 expansion. A spokesperson for Meta confirmed that Meta will gradually launch NFTs on Facebook, starting with creators based in the United States.

After some time, the creators of NFTs will be allowed to post between Facebook and Instagram. In May, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta announced the launch of NFT trials on Instagram. According to Zuckerberg, NFT functionality will eventually come to other Meta-owned apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Hundreds of bored monkey owners signed up to rent their NFTs to brands

A new NFT licensing platform called Boredjobs aims to list BAYC NFT within its platform to allow brands to browse through and indicate their interests in the collaboration. The platform was created by blockchain accelerator Mouse Belt Labs, led by its co-founder Patrick MacLean.

According to MacLean, just a day after its launch, the platform had received hundreds of applications from owners of BAYC NFTs to verify their ownership. Within the platform, brands can browse through BAYC NFT and choose to rent an ape. If both parties agree it will be presented to the owner of the ape.

Nifty News: NFT and Web3 gaming consoles to launch in 2024, Chinese companies to check ID for NFT purchases and more

Web3 gaming company Polium has announced a multichain console dedicated to Web3 gaming. According to Polium, the console will be able to support NFTs and blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and more. Meanwhile, the Chinese tech giant has signed a deal that forces them to verify the identities of users of the NFT trading platform. Called a “self-discipline initiative”, companies with a share in China’s NFT market are committed to verifying the identities of NFT buyers.
