The Miramax and Quentin Tarantino partnership has been incredibly successful over the years. It was not logical to end it on NFTs. The two sides are on the same page once again, and the Pulp Fiction NFT saga just got a new chapter. Rather than fight over scrap, the longtime partners decided to work together on future digital ventures. A production company like Miramax needs a director like Tarantino and vice versa. Do they need The Secret Network, though?
It is unclear what will happen to the original Pulp Fiction NFTs that Tarantino produced in conjunction with The Secret Network. After selling the first for over $1M, the company stopped on its track and canceled future auctions, citing “extreme market volatility”. The move was suspicious, but the reasons were not immediately clear. Did Miramax’s lawyers intimidate him? Or was it because the entity that bought that first NFT had close ties to The Secret Network? Did the collection fail to attract the required attention? Were buyers scared of future legal action by Miramax?
So far, The Secret Networks official channel Keep quiet on the matter. And they recycled Pulp Fiction NFT’s Twitter account and gave it to a whole different project, Other than this, Archive’s website Looks dead too. So, the secret network Miramax and Tarantino may be out of the deal.

What is the story of Pulp Fiction NFT?
In NewsBTC’s initial report On this matter, we explained the rights issue:
“On the one hand, Miramax was the “Pulp Fiction” production company and still holds the rights to the 1994 masterpiece. Tarantino, on the other hand, has reserved the rights to publish the screenplay, and the NFTs are based on that historical artifact.”
And the caveat of the situation was that under The Secret Network System, the NFT holder is the only person who can see what’s inside the file. This means Miramax sued without knowing the contents of the NFT. And Tarantino and The Secret Network were determined to move forward with the auction, and they Hugely changed NFT content to be compliant. NewsBTC reported:
“The people involved in the sale removed all Pulp Fiction-related images and replaced them with text-only or high contrast images of Quentin Tarantino. The content of the NFTs has also changed, now Secret network describes them as:
“In collaboration with SCRT Labs, Tarantino has transformed the chapters of this historical document into a one-of-a-kind NFT publication. The collection includes a single iconic scene from each NFT as well as personal audio commentary by Tarantino.”
Initial the end was anti-climatic, “In light of the extreme market volatility, we have decided to postpone the remainder of the auction to put the needs of our community first,” the company’s press release said. NewsBTC asked:
“Why did you do that? No one knows for sure. But the cover story is horrifying, instability? Really? Miramax didn’t take credit for the murder. And the Secret Network didn’t admit to little interest in the series or the technical difficulties. They simply let the whole operation down.” has been closed. “
And that was the story… until Tarantino and Miramax struck an agreement to continue exploring the digital realm together.
