According to a recent report, the secretly held, invitation-only crypto gala in Beverly Hills is called the “Medici LA 22” event. The special cryptocurrency gathering took place under the radar, but the two-day meeting was reported after “130 or so” attendees were found.
An Exclusive, Closed Door Meeting In Beverly Hills With Wall Street Big Wigs and Crypto Industry Leaders
On May 3, Bloomberg reporter Yuki Yang described an incident called Medici LA22, a secret gathering to create “actionable investment ideas” in the crypto industry. The doors of the event were closed and there was a no-name tag meeting which was attended by around 130 people for two days. Yang reports that the conference was held at the French eatery Jean-Georges Restaurant in Beverly Hills. Some attendees told Yang that “tickets for the event were difficult to get” and that some of the Medici LA 22 participants were from Jane Street, Goldman Sachs and BlackRock.
The report further stated that Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong as well as Galaxy Digital billionaire and CEO Mike Novogratz were also involved. Yang elaborated that Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko attended, JumpCrypto president Kanav Kariya, Polygon co-founder Mihailo Bezelik and BrainTrust CEO Adam Jackson went to the exclusive Medici event. The chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) was also a Medici participant.
According to a Bloomberg report, Medici Network was created five years ago by Adam Winick, founding partner of Finaly Capital Partners. The founding partner of Finaly Capital explained that when it came to finance, high-yield bonds were all the rage. “Today, the token is a new tool bootstrapping a new set of networks and we are proud to support that effort,” Vinnik said at the conference event.
The Annual Satoshi Round Table Conference is also an invitation-only event held in a secret location.
Medici Network events are not the only exclusive, invitation-only meetings that have taken place within the crypto industry. For example, every year Watchdog Capital founder and crypto advocate Bruce Fenton At a secret location, Satoshi organizes the Round Table Conference. During the first annual event, the Satoshi Roundtable was called the “Builderburgh” meeting of the crypto-world.
“The Satoshi Roundtable is an annual gathering of key players from the industry in an informal, yet private environment, where participants freely discuss current events, roadblocks and opportunities in the blockchain space,” the website’s description states.
