OpenC confirms Solana support after numerous rumors and speculations
According to a teaser video from the company, Opensea has confirmed that it will be adding Solana (SOL) support in April. tweeted Released on 29 March. Opensea already supports three blockchain networks which include Ethereum, Klaytn and Polygon. Solana (SOL) will be the fourth blockchain addition to the existing protocol lineup of the NFT marketplace.
Solana (SOL) is the seventh largest cryptocurrency (at the time of writing) in terms of market capitalization and the third largest smart contract platform coin in terms of market valuation. The SOL’s value jumped 33.1% against the US dollar during the past week, and year-to-date, the SOL is up 537%.
Solana support for OpenC was expected by many and when Solana advocated @bhaleyart, rumors started spreading about Phantom Wallet support (Solana-based wallet). tweeted About in mid-November 2021. Recently, Bitcoin.com News reported on leaked images discovered by tech blogger Jen Manchun Wong, which showed Solana support via OpenC.
There was also bitcoin.com news notified Via Twitter on March 25, when a man was inspired by the OpenC platform while using his Phantom wallet. the user recorded a video of the incident, which shows OpenC’s platform asking for permission to access its Solana account from its Phantom wallet. At the time, our newsdesk tried to replicate the experience, but we were unable to replicate it with the Phantom Wallet after watching the video.
