GlobalBlock becomes official digital asset partner of Premier Sports Network (PSN)

The collaboration will give GlobalBlocks access to leading sports personalities and clubs with an excellent opportunity to promote adoption of crypto in the sports industry.
GlobalBlock UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of GlobalBlock Digital Asset Trading Limited, has announced a partnership with premier sports platform Premier Sports Network (PSN), with the goal of promoting the digital asset space within the global sports industry.
GlobalBlock UK is now an official digital asset partner of PSN, said a press release shared with CoinJournal on Tuesday.
The deal will give the UK-based crypto brokerage service provider exclusive access to sports leaders around the world.
Of particular note will be the massive exposure and collaboration GlobalBlock will get from negotiations with the English Premier League (EPL) and Premiership Rugby, the company said in the statement.
Promoting crypto adoption and education
Ben Smalls, Head of Partnerships, GlobalBlock, said the games industry is seeing an increase in the adoption of crypto for payments. He pointed to a growing number of clubs, players and companies that see paid salaries, or penning sponsorship deals, in cryptocurrency as a “tremendous opportunity” for growth.

Kai McKennie, Head of Marketing at PSN, said the partnership will help enhance crypto education.

The partnership will allow GlobalBlocks UK to work with PSN on a range of projects, including referrals to sports clubs and educational workshops. The digital asset firm will also appear in PSN’s magazine and newsletters.
GlobalBlock Limited was established in 2018 and is registered as a crypto asset business in the UK. The company, which provides performance trading and secure custody services to individuals and institutions, has applied for a full license from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
EPL has increasingly seen clubs looking at the potential use of crypto in their business, with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and fan tokens already taking root.
