In a new chapter in the EOS community versus creator saga, EOS Network Foundation (ENF) founder and “community-elected CEO” Yves La Rose has revealed that he is preparing a legal “war” against EOS creator Block.one .
According to La Rose, they are reviewing any potential legal action “to seek $4.1B in damages.” Currently, the EOS leader mentioned that a Canadian law firm is working with them to find out what legal action they can take against the original developers of EOS.

In a blog post, the foundation announced that many members of the EOS community are deeply dissatisfied with Block.one.
“Block.one has not kept its word of the past promises and has resulted in harm to both the community and individual EOS users.”
Last year, the foundation announced that they were in talks with Block.one to find common ground. Both sides engaged in discussions in an effort to settle the issues in a fair manner. However, ENF noted that Block.one walked away from the talks. As a result, EOS’s block producers deemed it necessary to withhold vesting for Block.one’s future EOS token earnings.

Back in 2018, Block.one made an initial coin offering of the EOS token (EOS), the largest ICO ever held during that time, selling 900 million tokens for over $4 billion. However, since then, many are disappointed with the direction the company has taken.
A few months ago, La Rose called EOS a failure. It is a terrible financial and time investment, he said, citing market capitalization and loss in value. He also said that the community lost key developers and moved away from blockchain development and towards asset management.
