Cuba proposes to add optimistic rollup to Dogecoin. Every Twitter user has to put 1 DOGE for unlimited posts. Real humans will be able to get the spammer’s token after successfully fighting over his post. Conversely, if someone falsely labels certain tweets as spam, their Doge tokens will be lost.
Dogecoin co-founder Billy Marcus says he likes such an idea “very much” in his reaction to Cuba.
Cuba, who used to be a harsh critic of cryptocurrency, has become a fan of the meme cryptocurrency. The owners of the Dallas Mavericks are convinced that it could potentially become a viable currency.Dogecoin surged after Twitter agreed to sign an acquisition deal with Musk, U.Today reported. The social media platform is set to sell itself to the controversial entrepreneur for $44 billion. However, some still believe the deal will not close, speculating that it may simply be a publicity stunt.
Many believe that Twitter will integrate Dogecoin if Musk regains control of the social media platform. CentiBillionaire has already indicated that it plans to allow users to pay for Twitter Blue subscriptions with Dogecoin parody. Musk also praised the idea of making tipping possible with Dogecoin.
