dogecoin stole the show once again as two members of the DOGE-backed Aliens basketball team snatched up the midseason awards.
Dogecoin became part of the Big3 Basketball League as Bill Lee, the founding president of MyDog, a self-custodial Dogecoin wallet, purchased all 25 fire-tiered versions of Aliens, a team in the Big 3.

Big3 League decided to sell 25 Fire-Tier NFTs in April, giving new owners control of Killer3S licensing, intellectual property (IP) and League-approved items.
As a result of the purchase, Big3 Aliens adopted Dogecoin, which resulted in the integration of the MyDoge Wallet, which allows players, coaches and teams to earn Dogecoin Tips on Twitter with just one tweet. Aliens have also prominently worn Dogecoin on their team jerseys in recent matches.

The core release is meant to include improvements that tighten node and network security and change the recommended dust limit for all participants of the Dogecoin network from 1 DOGE to 0.01 DOGE.
With a very short block interval, Dogecoin aims to give users an inexpensive way to transact. A dust suppressor was introduced in 2014 to fight on-chain spam.
dogecoin core Includes some omissions in the software to reflect developers’ recommendations for fees and dust limits. These omissions, as of the time of release, represent the developers’ best guess as to the parameters of these limits.
Transactions with outputs below the dust threshold are rejected by the wallet, and if the change output drops below 0.01 DOGE, the wallet will discard the change and instead give it to miners as a fee. Once a sufficient number of miners and relay nodes have accepted the recently added relay dust limit, the recommended dust limit is estimated to be lower in subsequent releases.
