A total of $6.5 million was raised from a group of highly respected venture capitalists. Blockchain-focused VC heavyweights Courtside Ventures and Wave Financial co-led the round.
The seed funding campaign also saw participation from VaynerFund, Diplo, Gmoney, Justin Eversano, Arka NFT Fund, Infinity Ventures Crypto, Keenetic Capital, Mirana Ventures, Co. Ventures, Avalanche, Soma Capital, Cosmos VC and Palm Drive Capital.
In addition, many heavy-handed business angels participated in the fundraising as individual investors.
Gary Vaynerchuk of Vaynerfund emphasized the importance of CXIP Labs’ mission to the entire Web3 infrastructure segment:
The CXIP Labs team has a proven background in supporting the rights of artists in the creative industries, the fundamentals of Web3 and the future for creators informed by some of the smartest people in Web3.
Setting New Standards in NFT Infrastructure: What is a Holograph?
The new funds will be used to launch Holograph, a CXIP Labs flagship multi-blockchain solution for non-fungible tokens. The Holograph stack will include Bridge (a tool designed to facilitate NFT transfers between different blockchains), Core (a mining and storage API for NFTs) and Mint (a no-code generating interface).
CXIP Labs CEO Jeff Gluck emphasized that the Holograph release will make the NFT mining experience more cost-friendly and seamless for digital artists around the world:
With Holograph, our mission is to empower brands and creators in any market or blockchain by building solutions that make digital asset creation and trading easier and more accessible.
Holograph solutions for NFT mining have already been used by top market players including Sotheby’s, Philips, Nifty Gateway, AmfAR Gala and Academy Awards Museum.
