cardano founder Charles Hoskinson The recently released Cardano node seems to be bullish as the upgrade to the first set of SPOs (Stake Pool Operators) in 1.35.0. Over the weekend, Cardano’s IOHK shared the positive news that it has successfully released and tagged Cardano node 1.35.0, which it says will be the final candidate for Mainnet Vasil release. It said it had informed the SPO community that supported the testnet that the new node was ready for deployment. According to the Cardano developer, the launch of the node remains an “important milestone” leading up to the Vasil hardfork.

This is because the testnet upgrade proposal will be submitted as soon as 75% of stake pool operators are involved, which guarantees the required chain density.
IOHK According to an update published over the weekend, the claimed core Cardano software is now code-complete. Positive performance and cost improvements were also seen during testing of the new Plutus v2 code, including new CIPs that could significantly increase smart contract performance.
Four different CIPs, including CIP-31 (context input), CIP-32 (inline data), CIP-33 (context script) and CIP-40 (collateral output), are expected to be included in the upcoming Vasil update.
activity ramp up
IOG continues to prepare for Vasil testnet hardfork release. After a successful testnet hardfork release, exchanges and SPOs should have four weeks to complete all necessary testing and integration tasks before the mainnet fork.
As reported by U.Today, the mainnet launch of Vasil Hardfork was planned for late June, but has since been delayed. According to the revised plan, it is now estimated to be at the end of July. As the community looks forward to a successful Vassil HFC event, IOG promises to update its website this week with new developments.
IOG believes that Cardano’s upcoming improvements could make it faster than its competitors and a fiercely competitive platform for decentralized finance (DeFi).
