KuCoin’s Community Chain (KCC) is now supported in non-custodial wallets as well
In an event called Trust Tuesday, Trust Wallet[TWT]the cardano[ADA]ronin network[AXS, RON]and KuCoin Community Chain[KCS]Like announced the integration of the network. With the integration, users will be able to seamlessly hold, exchange and convert tokens from these networks using Trust Wallet. Integrating into a non-custodial wallet protected by Binance, one of the largest crypto exchanges, seems like a great solution for all parties involved.
Cardano has long established itself as an independent, actively developing blockchain, which has also been doing well in the NFT segment. At the same time, it seems that Cardano-based projects and their tokens have long been in the shadow of ADA, and backing them in Trust Wallet could help them grow in recognition.
The expansion of support for the Ronin network is equally good news, as the network was created directly for the needs of play-to-earn projects, and moving it beyond its own wallet is likely to have a positive impact on the circulation of network tokens. Must such as AXS and RON are actively used in the Axie Infinity game.
KuCoin is also doing very well, when it was not known before yesterday that the exchange has reached the mark of 20 million registered users. This should encourage the project team to work more actively on their own KCC network, which is still mostly limited to KCS tokens.
Trust Wallet strengthens its position on the eve of “wallet battle”
As for Trust Wallet itself, it’s hard not to appreciate the scale of the announcement: three such popular chains in one day. The Wallet team is actively preparing for the battle in the crypto wallet market. The main competitor here is definitely Metamask, whose coin has been waiting for the crypto community for a long time. Looking at the planned implementation of Thorchain (RUNE) cross-chain swaps and an upcoming browser extension, it looks like Trust Wallet has ambitions to compete with MetaMask.
