Reigning Super Bowl champion and future first-ballot Hall of Famer, Tom Brady, is releasing his first (non-fungible token) NFT collection on DraftKings Marketplace via the Autograph platform.

Tom Brady has accomplished everything one could hope to do on a football field. Now, as his legendary career is winding down, Brady has found a new passion in cryptocurrency. The legendary quarterback unveiled his NFT platform back in April. Then, in June, Brady, and his wife Gisele Bündchen signed a long-term partnership with FTX. As part of the agreement, both Brady and Bündchen will be taking an equity stake in FTX and receive crypto in return. Brady will also become a brand ambassador for FTX while Bündchen assumes the role of FTX’s Environmental & Social Initiatives Advisor.

Brady tweeted Wednesday morning that the Autograph NFT collection is ready to be released with the first official Tom Brady NFTs to hit the market.

Brady NFTs are ready to be released

Autograph was launched with advisors from several tech and sports companies including Apple, Spotify, and Draft Kings. The latter recently launched the DraftKings Marketplace to host NFT sales and that is where the Autograph collection will be live starting Wednesday, August 11. In a tweet, Brady said that he was “Excited to announce the launch of the first-ever Autograph Premier preseason passes. Each owner of a Preseason Access Pass will have preferential access to future drops from Autograph. This is the new era of collecting!”

As of this writing, there is only one Brady NFT collection on Autograph, called the “Preseason Access Collection.” According to the listing, there are several tiers of rarity contained in the collection, with 10 different options to choose from. The lowest tier is referred to as the Tom Brady Carbon Premier NFT. 5,000 examples of this tier were minted with each selling for $12. The levels get more exclusive, with some even containing digital signatures and VIP rewards.

The highest tier, The Tom Brady Ruby Signed is an official autograph preseason access pass with just 12 examples up for sale. The Ruby Signed NFTs are $1,500 each and come with an authentic Brady signature “signed individually and personally by Tom Brady.” Each winner will be granted access to a VIP limited edition NFT drop at a later date and access to an exclusive Discord community.

Autograph has confirmed that signature editions will be released with other athletes soon. The next being the greatest hockey player to ever lace up his skates, Wayne Gretzky.
