BeInCrypto Launches Industry-wide Global Campaign #CryptoForPeace

Updated by Shilpa Lama

Research done by Jawad (2020) concluded that ‘’Armed conflict, particularly war, is associated with a substantial indirect mortality impact among civilians globally with children most severely burdened’’.

Right now the world has become a terrifying, uncertain place as our friends, and families all over the world are deeply impacted by wars, conflicts, policies, and government-centered disagreements, the type of conflict we could not imagine seeing again in our lifetimes.

The core of our work at BIC is to inspire and educate, hence our keen interest in a peace project.

#CryptoForPeace is an initiative of BIC with the global goal of positioning cryptocurrency as a peace-oriented one, promoting and facilitating crypto-related donations to support individuals all over the world that may have lost their homes due to conflicts, wars, or intergovernmental disagreements.

We would be hosting several twitter discussions focusing on different aspects of blockchain technologies, which would be centered on ‘’using crypto for positive change’’, touching on topics from peace, charity, sustainability, and serving the unbanked, among other subjects.

We have aligned with several thought leaders and partners on this campaign, some of which are Salamantex , angel protocol , coincaex, headsbybnxn (Buju) , Tunde OD (Chess in slum)exeno, YAF , Coindot, and many others that will join.

Our core activity for this campaign will be a twitter space series with different speakers across the industry on the topic ‘using crypto for positive change’

We are here because we imagine a global community – a world where decisions are transparent and those who make them are accountable. A community that has more freedom, more trust, and is not divided by the few.

Everyday we are working to create a future without borders, bans and discrimination.
